  • Crypto broker Voyager Digital Ltd. has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The volatile crypto market condition and the default of Singapore-based crypto hedge fund Three Arrows Capital (3AC) left them no choice other than to make the decisive move, said its CEO, Stephen Ehrlich.
  • BlockFi differentiates its platform from Voyager and Celsius, as the two are “shut down and have impending losses for their clients,” while BlockFi has no issues with providing their services.
  • Singapore-based cryptocurrency loan and trading platform Vauld filed for a moratorium on July 8, following the disclosure of a shortfall of $70 million and suspension of client withdrawals.
  • It was a week driven by U.S. bond rates and European issues amid no major news other than the bankruptcy of major cryptocurrency loan platforms.
