  • The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) is scrutinizing Coinbase Global Inc. to check whether it improperly let Americans trade digital assets that should have been registered as securities, and the company’s shares dropped 21%.
  • Washington said there’s a statement in the US Semiconductor and Science Act that the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP) should have advisors for responding to cryptocurrency issues.
  • Ethereum overtook Bitcoin for the first time in the options market. Ethereum option foot call ratio is about 0.26, and the rest of Ethereum's PoS transition is scheduled for September 19th.
