  • Twitter has broadened its investment information provision services by collaborating with eTORO, a leading stock and cryptocurrency trading platform. Accordingly, Twitter is set to expand the Cashtag feature, allowing users to access market data for cryptocurrency market charts and various financial products. Additionally, Twitter has expressed its commitment to assisting users in trading cryptocurrencies and stocks shortly.
  • The EU Parliament has recently passed the MiCA bill, marking it as the first virtual asset-related bill in Europe. The MiCA bill’s core objective is to establish specific qualification requirements for cryptocurrency operators, necessitating the requirement of licenses. The bill will take effect in the second half of next year.
  • The SEC has revealed its intention to add DeFi to its list of regulated targets through a proposed rule-making plan. The SEC chairman expressed that “most cryptocurrencies are securities, and both centralized and decentralized exchanges are subject to regulation.” Related industries are expected to suffer from such regulations.
  • Coinbase, a major crypto exchange, has said it has recently secured a Bermuda operator license to expand its global market. CEO of Coinbase said, "If the U.S. does not enact clear cryptocurrency regulations, Coinbase will consider leaving the U.S."
